Meet Coach Jon

 Hi! I'm coach Jon.  I have been involved in competitive endurance sports for 30 years with over 20 years as a plant-based athlete. If you are looking for a plant-based endurance coach  with decades of experience, you've landed at the right place. I competed in my first bicycle race at the age of eleven. I went on to become a high ranking, expert level junior mountain bike racer in the northeast region. I relocated to beautiful Arizona in the early 2000s where I trained for 300 to 500 miles week on road and trails. The Phoenix area also had a very progressive vegan community, something I had not experienced on the east coast. I later moved back to New England where I discovered a passion for mountain running and triathlon. In 2013 I unlocked the hidden potential of combining a raw fruit-based diet with training in the mountains of New England. That year I ranked 7th overall in the New England Mountain Running Circuit among US national champions and world mountain running competitors. Today my passion for endurance sports lives on. You can typically find me running or biking on the back roads or trails in New England or while on vacation in Arizona. My adventures in 2019 took me on a 23 mile run through the Grand Canyon, a full marathon on the Massachusetts seashore, and long hikes in the White Mountains of New Hampshire. In 2020, I'm currently training for the Vegan Power 50K trail race in western Massachusetts.

Why online coaching?

I've worked with athletes locally and in person for many years. Although this style of coaching can be very beneficial for my clients, it also can be very expensive ($100 to $180 per session), it creates time restrictions for both my clients and myself, and it only allowed me to work with a handful of clients at a time.


Online coaching has many more benefits for the athletes I coach and myself. It allows me to work with clients from all over the world and to provide them with quality training plans, education, motivation, healthy eating habits, injury prevention, and recovery.


Not to mention, starting at $50 a week, it's a fraction of the price of on location training and coaching.
